I'm happy to say my skin is no longer as dry or flaky as it was a few weeks ago, but even in its driest phase this foundation did not emphasize any flakes. I apply it with my fingers as I find it blends better that way. I wouldn't say it's a matte coverage, more like a satin one so there's still some sheen.

You only need a little bit to get a really good medium to full coverage. Swatches of MAC Studio Sculpt foundation in NC25 and NW25 I don't mind that at all as I've always mixed my foundations shades, so all good.
